The Little Lacrosse Academy started as the passion project of former Division I athlete and collegiate coach Cat Thoreson (Hofstra ’09). Determined to create a lacrosse program for her two rambunctious toddlers that shared her love of the sport as well as aided in their development, coordination, and social growth, the Little Lacrosse Academy was born. Classes kicked off in Baltimore, MD in March of 2018 and, well, the rest is kind of history!

Our dedicated team of coaches make learning lacrosse simple, safe, and fun for boys and girls ages one to seven years old. Even more though, they aim to positively impact children’s lives through the sport of lacrosse. Our incredibly passionate coaches are led by our leadership team:
